TAB 2019

International Architecture Schools’ Exhibition Terribly Beautiful brings architects and students from 11 countries to Tallinn

12 works by architecture students and practicing architects from all over the world have been selected to be shown at the Tallinn Architecture Biennale TAB exhibition “Terribly Beautiful” that investigates school as a facility for getting (terribly) lost and making (terrible) mistakes. TAB 2019 Architecture Schools’ Exhibition is curated by young Estonian architects: Merilin Kaup, Margus Tammik and and Ulla Alla and will be exhibited on 11.09-09.10.2019 in the Estonian Academy of Arts Gallery.

Authors of the 12 winning proposals are invited to Tallinn to participate in a 4- day workshop (7-11.09.2019) as part of the Biennale. The selected participants will work in the gallery for 4 days and nights as a makeshift architecture studio, for the public to sneakily view as a “performance”. Winning proposals were made by teams from Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Australia, Mexico, Belgium, USA, Poland, Spain and Slovakia.

Exhibition opening will take place on the 11th of September at 1pm in the Estonian Academy of Arts Gallery.
